Messok, late December 2025 – The Dadé Kaolé Association had the honor of welcoming a delegation of Polish tourists in the locality of Djangué, in Messok, specifically at the Makalaya Crossroads.

This visit is part of a dynamic to promote Baka culture and to promote ecotourism as a lever for local development..

Une immersion au cœur du savoir-faire ancestral

The Baka communities of Djangué proudly presented their savoir-faire traditionnels :

  • Traditional craftsmanship
  • Music and ritual dances
  • Transmission orale des savoirs ancestraux
  • Knowledge of the forest and medicinal plants

The Polish visitors came to encounter a living heritage, rich in traditions passed down from generation to generation. This cultural immersion allowed for a true intercultural exchange, based on respect, learning, and sharing..

A sustainable opportunity for indigenous peoples

Beyond just a simple visit, this initiative demonstrates that ecotourism can become a revenue-generating activity for indigenous peoples, while preserving their cultural identity and environment..

By promoting :

✔️ The enhancement of ancestral know-how

✔️ The protection of biodiversity

✔️ The recognition of cultural rights

✔️ The economic empowerment of communities

lEcotourism is a sustainable alternative to the socio-economic challenges faced by indigenous peoples.

A commitment to cultural promotion

Through this action, the Dadé Kaolé Association reaffirms its commitment to :

  • On the promotion of the rights and culture of indigenous peoples
  • On the development of sustainable local economic initiatives
  • On strengthening international partnerships

This meeting in Messok perfectly illustrates how culture can become a bridge between peoples and a driver of inclusive development
