The Dadé Kaolé Association visited the various camps in the municipalities of Messok and Ngoyla from May 1 to May 6, 2025. This visit, requested by WWF, is part of the follow-up to the MoU signed with the indigenous peoples for the preservation of the Nki National Park.

During these visits, the focus was on monitoring the actions for biodiversity preservation in the park. The discussions also addressed the various difficulties faced by the Baka in accessing the forest and its resources. For the Baka, conflicts have significantly decreased with the logging companies, which have understood the necessity of allowing them to enjoy their forests and the nutritional resources they contain. More than 11 camps were visited in the municipalities of Messok and Ngoyla.

The Nki National Park is located in the East Region of Cameroon. It is a protected area of 309,362 hectares that includes hills, a mixed forest, savanna, and grasslands.
